An Ideal Location In Madison

Madison is a city with small town charm. Southern hospitality does not even compare to “Wisconsin hospitality”. Everyone makes one another feel welcome and everyone is extremely friendly. The laid back and peaceful atmosphere is not only contagious, but will leave you wanting more!

Just because Madison holds small town charm, does not mean it is lacking in the city department. Madison holds big city culture. Downtown Madison is an unexpectedly historic, adventurous and fun spot to see and stay.

There are numerous museums, the Capital Building, the University of Wisconsin and events and festivals are always happening. There are so many educational activities, as well as the college life atmosphere. Attending a Badgers football game is a must do. The University of Wisconsin has copious amounts of loyalty, enthusiasm, and devotion to their football team. Camp Randall, the stadium for the Badgers, holds 76,129 people! This might also be why the University of Wisconsin is one of the top ten tailgating universities in college football!

Just outside of this city, tucked away in Baraboo, is Devil’s Lake State Park. Known as the Midwest’s “Yellowstone”, Devil’s lake is a captivating experience. Endless trails and spectacular views are just a glimpse of everything this state park has to offer. There are also campgrounds, a beach, and once one starts hiking their way up the mountains, the views will leave you with a feeling of total tranquility and will take your breath away.

Also just outside of this city is Wisconsin Dells, which has the popular tourist area, Broadway Avenue. Broadway Avenue is similar to the tourist areas of Orlando, Florida. Along this avenue there are attractions, theme parks, water parks, museums, gift shops, restaurants, resorts, and hotels. Noah’s Ark, a waterpark here, is the largest water park in the United States as well as the Travel Channel’s best water park. The Wisconsin Dells is actually known as the Waterpark Capital of the World.

Whether on vacation or at home, Madison is the ideal location to be. Try some famous cheese curds, venture out and go hiking in a beautiful and serene environment, or take a day trip right around the corner to Chicago. The possibilities are endless here and an amazing time will be had!
